French Club was launched in 2009. Founded by Sandrine, an expert French Teacher with extensive experience in teaching, her passion is to help others learn French in a confident and friendly way.
She has many years teaching experience through the French Chamber of Commerce and other language schools, as well as experience teaching in primary schools and to companies. She comes from an international background and has lived and worked in France, England and Australia. She has a Certificate in Language Tuition and a Master's degree in Business.
Classes taught are as follows:
On your first lesson, you will get assessed, which will allow the teacher to understand the areas you want and need to focus on. It will also be the opportunity for the teacher to find out what are your motivations to learn French and to understand what form of teaching would work best with your personality type.
Your teacher will make sure you have an enjoyable time whilst learning in an efficient way. She will monitor your progress and will adapt the lessons to your pace. Lessons are interactive and will consist of role plays, oral exercises, pronunciation techniques giving you also some insight in the French Culture. The teacher will use a variety of teaching tools, from traditional methods such as text books and tapes to more playful methods, including role plays, dialogues, flashcards, memory games etc.
